Default How to remove hurst shift **** from tr 6060

I'm in the process of fabing a 2012 Camero council into my 49 chevy. The shift **** needs to be removed to do some fit up fabing. How do you remove the Hurst shift ****? Thanks in advance

I can tell you that the stock **** would have a set screw under the shift boot collar, where the boot attaches you rotate it a quarter turn while pulling down and that would expose the set screw. Don't know if this would help since I have no idea if the Hurst is the same.
