Default Does a Tr6070 fit onto an lq9/ls3?

Hey there just wanna get some insight.

I'm looking at getting a built tr6070 by rpm with a hp limit of 1000.

I'm just wondering if the tr6070 would mock up to an lq9 like the tr6060 does.

Honestly I don't see why not, but since it's for a corvette I do know the transfer is a bit smaller, and therefore the shifter would sit closet to the firewall.

I'm LS swapping a Nissan 240 sx s14. And I'm a bit ways away from dropping the trans but just checking some options. Thanks guys.

I'm gonna be dropping the lq9 into a 240sx. I'm talking to a guy now and he says that "the tr6070 is the same as a 6060 but has an extra gear but this one won’t work for you as it’s for a corvette and mounts in the rear." I'm assuming he means that the trans mount points of the tr6070 are the in rear not toward the middle-more front like the tr6060. Evidently couldnt I just do custom trans mounts for it?

The corvette trans physically mounted to the rear diff. There is a tube that runs from the back of the engine to the front of the trans. It doesn't bolt up to the back of the engine like a traditional transmission would. I know there are a bunch of s14/15 swaps around, so you should be able to find plenty of options/guides for inspiration.

Hope your swap goes well, looking forward to seeing the finished product!
