Default TR6060 procedure to reinstall bellhousing

Cant figure out how to put back on my bellhousing to trans TR6060..the shifter shaft/rod seems to stick out to much and its blocking the bellhousing from going back in.

Does the shifter shaft has to be in a specific position??

Car is a 2013 Camaro 1LE. Trans front cover(bellhousing) has the plastic pump and shifter shaft bearing.

you have to line up the top rail, linkage rail . Also the pump drive pin needs to be positioned so that it fits in the cluster drive slot.

Just thought Id share that you need to remove the bolt on top of trans to remove shifter shaft spring and plunger.

hey there sorry for bringing this back up but I just pulled my bellhousing of a tr6060 not knowing it was integrated and I can get the bellhousing back on but the shifter doesn’t not feel right at. Very sloppy. I don’t know where I went wrong
