Default lq4 to sm465 in a p30?

working things out here, going in an old bread truck that already has the sm465 the lq4 is stock save for a rear o2 delete, going to be a hauler, camping rig etc. not going to see much highway use. how much am I going to loose fuel millage wise by running a 4 speed? the other option is of course, running a nv4500, but if its not too much of a loss, I would just keep the 4 speed, and possibly change the rear gears to accommodate. so what do you folks think?

An NV4500 will be a better over all choice for you. Its superior to the SM465 in every way and isn't much heavier over all.
