2005 C6 T56 in 01 C5 Z51 My 2001 C5 Corvettes T56 is broken and Ive found a T56 and Torque Tube out of a 2005 C6 Z51 for 875.00
will it bolt in with No Modifications, plug and play???
I need to know before I drive 2.5 hours to go get it.

2005 is the only year T56 that will interchange. I bought a 05 Z51 Transmission Yesterday. They do have 27 spline also.

Does the C6 tailshaft housing need to be swapped for the C5 one?
