Default T56 swap master cylinder reinforcement

I went A4 to M6 in my 96 TA awhile back. I’m in the middle of a LS swap at the moment and I’m redoing the engine bay.

I want the reinforce the the point where the clutch master cylinder mounts. I’ve done a few quick searches and I’m not seeing any ideas that I want to follow. I am wanting to weld a steel plate to the firewall. But I would like to see a few ideas of how people have done it. I can weld inside or outside I would just like it to look queen . Post pictures if you have them please.

Speedtech and Detroit Speed both make clutch master cylinder brackets to retrofit hydraulic clutch master cylinders into older cars. You can search “clutch master cylinder bracket” on Summit Racing and find them. One of these might work out for your car too...?

Really I’d just like to know if people are putting these on the inside or outside of the firewall. Maybe how thick the metal should be.
