thanx. ended up driving it to work so i can work on some stuff. hopefully soon itll go to my buddies shop to finally get the turbo kit built.

I took my TA to a custom shop to work on it. They just called telling me the slave needed 8mm of shim. For the Tick shim kit that was the thickest and middle shims stacked. They are giving me the thinnest one back. Had to install longer bolts to hold down the slave cylinder too. They were just getting it back together and haven't driven it yet but seeing they measured it and had the same results it looks promising. They really should include the shims with the clutch kits!

I have a shim kit I bought, never used it and now with the new triple disc have no need for it. Howe racing has their own style of shims.
Would probably sell pretty cheap.

i googled and found a 4 piece kit for like $25-30 shipped. dont remember where it was from though at the moment.

well that sux. glad mcleod is sending a RMA though. hopefully you get it all worked out soon. im still waiting for my buddy to finally start on my turbo kit.
