Default Weird clutch issue

I have a weird issue going in with my clutch or possibly hydraulics.

set up is a LS 6.0 with a t56. Stock LS1 style slave with a tilton 3/4 adjustable master cylinder. Monster stage 2 clutch.

the clutch and trans shift fine no issues with those. The clutch is shimmed perfectly and is within spec using the tick shims.

the issue I am having is when I push in the clutch then immediately put the transmission into 1st or any gear the car moves ever so slightly. Happens in all the gears.

But if I keep my foot on the clutch to the floor it will move into all the other gears without moving the car. And if I go, push in the clutch, wait about 3-4 seconds then put it into gear, the car will not move at all.

This was happening when I had an LS7 clutch and with my monster stage 2 clutch. So I am think it is possibly the slave cylinder? I have been bleeding the system but nothing as really made a difference.

Also I have a speed bleeder and a mity vac for the bleeding. Any help is welcomed. Thank you.

You need to adjust your master cylinder, it's not fully disengaging. Adjust it so that you have more pedal travel so that it moves more fluid.

Adjusted the master for the pedal to have way more travel and was no help, also bled the system again and there were no air bubbles. I’m thinking it might be the slave cylinder idk. The set up doesn’t have very many miles on it. Maybe 100 miles on the clutch and hydraulics.

Your MC "may" be the issue. Tiltons have a issue with a unchamfered hole in the cyl and when the boot hits that spot it is cut. Repair but same issue will happen again if that is what is going on.

Get the McLeod MC (made by Wilwood) if you find the MC is the issue (likely)

Okay, I stuck my borescope into the bell-housing to get a look at the slave and clutch when operating. Everything checks out, the slave moves immediately when I start pushing the pedal.

But I did notice a small amount of fluid on the pressure side line of the slave, this tells me that the fitting inside of the bell housing has a small leak. Do you guys think that that could be causing the issue?

Pulled the trans, replaced the slave measure the slave added shims accordingly, same issue. So I ordered a wilwood master cylinder to put on to see if that is cure. If not then it has to be something with the trans which makes no sense. It isn’t the clutch because it did this with the LS7 and my current monster stage 2

Replaced the master, bled the system and it’s still doing it. I’ll try more bleeding but I am now at a loss. All the hydraulics are new and no leaks, it did this with both clutch’s. Maybe it’s an issue with the transmission? I’m not sure
