You gave no information on what you're putting the Trans in. Nobody can read your mind.

Are you talking about your stock aluminum driveshaft? If so, just buy an upgraded aftermarket shaft. If you make the kind of power that needs a Magnum-F, a stock shaft isn't long for this world anyway.

Exactly, get one built for your setup. Stock tune only cars can snap that factory Aluminum Driveshaft. Seen it.

All I know is, the Magnum-F has a different spline count on the output shaft than a T-56, so you'll need a different slip yoke. But I don't think it needs to be shortened.

If you have the T56 Magnum F, then it's the same size as the standard T56. You need a new yoke, as the output shaft is 31 spline on the T56 Magnum F. I would get the 31 spline yoke with the 1350 U Joint, and then get a 1350 to 1310 U Joint to connect to your stock driveshaft. When you upgrade your drive shaft, you will want to have 1350 U Joints on it. That's all you need.

Strange and Sunnex both make a good 31 spline yoke. When I bought my T56 Magnum F for my 4th gen, I bought it from Tick and purchased the yoke and conversion U Joint at the same time.

Look at your stock slip yoke with balancer and extra length.

Now look at the 31 spline yikes mentioned above.

Not a match. Not a "keep your stocker and swap yokes" opportunity. The late 4th gen stock alum. drivelines were thinwall cardboard damped crap to boot.

The only answer: New with correct 31 spline yoke.
