Spec 2 or 3???
Ok guys, i am breaking out the checkbook and buyin a clutch in about a week. My mods are in my sig. What should i go with, a spec 2 or 3. The only future mods i have planned are a 12 bolt and probably a 100 shot.
Also, what are the advantages of upgrading the hydrolics. My car is a 98. Do i really need to upgrade them? What will happen if i dont? Also, i am curious what my rwhp is. Just for the hell of it, can someone give me a good estimate. I would guess 380, but thats just a guess.

Do a search for more info, but I have a 3 in mine with mods in sig and after 400 miles and 5 runs at the track, barely any chatter unless I don't get the R's up a bit before I let it out. You should definitely upgrade the hydraulics and do the drill mod. As far as your mods, I would guess around 355 to 365. Mine dynod at 370 HP, 371 TQ. But I would definitely go with the SPEC 3.

Just got the Spec 3 installed. Still breakin her in, but I love it. Some chatter, but if ya keep the rpm's up a bit while gettin out of first, you'll be fine. I only have 60 miles on mine, and I can eliminate chatter completely with slight boost in rpm's. Most chatter should be totally gone in another few hundred miles. GREAT clutch, grabs like a possessed bitch. Go for the 3 w/upgraded hydraulics, won't regret it. If u don't go for the upgraded hydraulics, you'll invariably run into issues down the road, if not immediately. Has to do with line pressure.....
