Default Slave cylinder swap done; car won't shift right

Ok, so I dropped a new slave cylinder into my 98 ls1 m6 and it built pressure 100x better.

Anyway, on to the problem. Sometimes the 1'st / 2'nd gear gate is blocked off, and sometimes 3'rd seems to be also, so the only options are 4'th, 5'th and 6'th gear.

I unplugged the reverse lockout wire (Top one, drivers side?) and it seemed to shift better, but wouldn't go into reverse?

What the hell did I mess up? I'm guessing I must have plugged something in wrong.

Oh, and sometimes it will shift just fine with no problems.

Ok, so what do I need to do to fix it so I can at least get into all gears at any time? I don't ever want a gate blocked except reverse when the car is moving.

3 choices:

-SLP skip shift eliminator
-find the resistor thats in an SLP unit and rig it up yourself
-tune it out with ls1edit or hptuners

its your choice, they essentially do the same thing.
