Flywheel and hydraulics upgrade????
I'm trying to do research into buying a new clutch and I'm looking at the SPEC stage 3.
My car is a 2000 so I need to upgrade the hydraulics. My question is do I need the master and slave cylinders or just a new slave, because I notice that some places sell just the slave? Where does the problem exist?
Also, my car has under 15k miles so I don't really see the need for a new flywheel, could I just have the current one resurfaced?
Thanks.

You do need both the master and slave cylinders. I have had customers use just the slave with success, but why risk it? The older style master does not provide enough fluid especially during/after abuse.
You can have the stock one resurfaced.
We sell the Stage 3 x-pads in stock ready to ship same day @ $400 + free ship. The hydraulics kits complete are $265 + free ship.

i've heard that the change in the master cyl between '00 and '01 was merely for pedal pressure, but i do know this...
when i changed my master cyl to an '01 the problems that i'd been having with the car not going into gear went away.

Every once and a while I have troubles getting it into 3rd gear when I get on it hard. I still have the stock clutch. I'm trying to figure out what clutch I want or should get.
