Mine is on a daily driver. Whats stupid is the dumbasses at Spec told me to shim it so I did even though the mechanic told me that he didnt think it would help because that would make it slip more. Well it did so I am not now I am out $300 for that and my clutch feels worse than it did before they worked on it.

Same shop put in a McCleoud single disc and I was good to go.

When they pulled the clutch they said it was still very meaty, had lots of the clutch left. It has slipped ever since it has been in also. I ran it once at the track all motor when I first got it and it slipped. I didnt think anything about it because it was new and thought it might still be breaking in and everything. I didnt go to the track for a long time and it did it again when I did. Now it slips all the time just driving.

I have a Spec St 3 as well and mine is starting to slip(i think) but it also engages now at almost the top of the pedal. I do not have a adjustable master but my car is a 01. Would a adj. master help me get more life out of it by adjusting it as the disc wears down?
(Had it on the car for about 8k miles now, daily driver with lost of stop and go traffic, i. e. slipping in traffic)

I have a spec 3 for 12K miles after I broke my stock one at 9000 miles. I broke in the clutch for 1/2 a mile and beated on it ever since. I know were near baby my car and this clutch hasn't let me down yet.

I hope the 4I I have on it's way lasts, the thing is supposed to be able to take a boatload of abuse... so I imagine if driven normal, it should last quite a while. Hope I'm not wrong in thinking this, after spending 800 bucks on it with the flywheel and throwout/pilot bearings......

my spec has plenty of 12.0's on it and still holding well.... i actually have it apart right now and w/4000 miles it looks good. The flywheel looks a little dirty...haha...but still have plenty of 4500 dumps on it....well see how long it lasts with 120 more hp to the weels.... stage 4 here we come...
