help! clutch pedal sticks/goes to floor in 02 z06....
my 2002 z06 has had a clutch replaced underwarranty about 8000 miles ago.
now if you are in the high rpms.. 3rd , 4th gear....
the clutch pdal loses tension.. and sags some.
if you run through the gears 1-2-3-4 .. then do it again
by the 3-4 shift the clutch pedal is on the floor. and has to be pulled back up with my toe.
whats the problem?
whats the solution?
pressureplate losing tension?
slave cylinder have air in it?
both?
also , the clutch must be about done.. too.
what aftermarket clutch is everyone running?
aftermarket flywheel?
not a scheap skate but dotn want to spend a million $ on clutch and press plate.
help!
thanks!

See the other thread concening this. I just went out in a 7500 mile old, pampered, waxed, never raced 2003 Z-06, and I was able to get it to do the same thing at max rpm in third gear.

My clutch does the same thing...After the clutch seems alot of heat it just looses its tension...Clutch is pretty much burnt up...Alot of people are going with the SPEC line of clutches as well as I am (Stage 3)
