Exclamation drivetrain question=@390rwtq

ive got a stock drivetrain and I will be produceing this much power nextweek. Ive already got an aftermarket clutch, and I just ordered a new ring and pinion for my Stock rearend to bump it up to a 3.73

With this much torque(no slicks, just street tires) what other considerations would I need to do to the drivetrain

Sorta... what clutch do you have?

The tranny will be fine as it is. If you have a pre-01, you should get the updated hydraulics, but that isn't really affected by the power you're making. Questions about gearing would probably be better-received in the Gears & Axles forum.

I'll tell what happened to me, my car with those # developed an appetite for 10 bolts. Save you $$$ get a real rear end= 12 bolt 9" IMO.
