I've got a McLeod single kevlar disk with an adjustable master. I'm liking it so far... more pedal pressure than stock (which I like), and holds a lot better than stock. I'd say if you're gonna make more than 450rwhp on a consistent basis, I'd go with a more serious clutch that has an iron disk.

Just bought Cartek clutch and thier master cylinder. I researched for quite some time. Someone out there has had issues with each clutch out there. I'm having 427 built, 550 rwhp, 200 shot of nitrous. Won't be leaving the line on the juice. quite a few 10 second cars running their clutch. Mcleod twin disk is a good clutch also.

mcloed sucks .ive had nothing but problems w/ the twin disc.and they always point the finger at you and wont stand behind thier product when theres a problem.but if you send it to them they'll fix it over and over for $260 plus s/h each way.at least thats what happened to me.
go spec 3/4 alot of people are making big power while using those clutches only if you dont mind a little chatter.if not, theres other clutch companies out there.maybe you'll find one to work for you.

I have the Ram Powergrip HD. It is a little touchy for stop and go traffic. You just have to pay attention and not be lazy with the clutch. I do really like mine and it grips very good at the track. All in all the Ram Powergrip HD is a great clutch.

Do you have any chatter with the ram?

If you don't pay attention and get lazy with the clutch then yes you could get some chatter when you first start out. As long as you pay attention and not be lazy with it there is no chatter.
