Need Help With T56

Default Need Help With T56

Last weekend I installed a Spec III.. Car seemed to work ok last weekend exscept the pedal was all at the floor... I was driving it today.. And now the car Doesnt want to go into gear at all. And when I do get it in first It wabts to grab sometimes even when the pedal is all the way down...Do I just need to Bleed it...Or is there a bigger problem..and if I need to bleed it.. where is the bleed port.... Help please

Sounds like it needs to be bled.

Spend a few bucks on a miti vac and it will make life alot easier.
You will need to bleed the hydraulics a few times to get them right.

With the Mity Vac you just put the hose into the hole in the bottom of the MC resevoir and pump up the vacuum. It will suck the air out.

I have also found that when running DOT3 fluid it is neccasary to bleed periodically due to the heat that the hydraulics are exposed to.

Since I changed over to DOT 5 I have not had this problem.
