What is the drill mod ?

What is the drill mod ?

Can someone explain this to me ? When I try to hit 3rd hard it grinds everytime, I've had a few people tell me to try the drill mod but I have no idea what it is or how to do it

The drill mod is the hydralic hose going from the master cly. to the slave cly. on the tranny.there a screen in the master cly. side about 1/2" down that restricts flow to the slave cly. To do the mod take a 1/8" drill bit and drill it out.make sure you drill straight(that is inside of the hose) and dont go any further than you have to(about 1/2 - 5/8 of a inch)so you dont damage the inside of the hose.make sure you clean all of the stuff out of the hose very good before reconnecting it.

Really? I have heard mixed reviews about it, some have thought it made things worse. Whats the consensus?

Drill mod is badass, did it on my Z. Before my clutch felt like I was stepping in a big thing of mud, now it feels like the clutch in my friends bmw 540. Def do it, greatly improves the feel and helps fix the gay 2-3 shift problem.
