getting a z06 clutch, a few hydraulics questions
I've been away from the boards for a little while, so please forgive me if these questions have been previously adressed.
I have a 99 Z28 with almost 50,000mi on the original clutch and hydraulics, and am getting ready to replace them. I only go to the track every now and then, but occasionally I drive aggressively on the street.
-I intend to get a Z06 clutch kit (PN 12570806) from SDPC or a cheaper source.
-I already know I want to replace my slave with the updated slave cylinder (PN 15046288)
-My question is should I also replace my master cylinder as well? I'm not sure if this was upgraded for 01-02 like the slave. I do not have the drill mod on my existing one. What benefits/problems would there be if I performed this mod? Also, are there any other parts I should replace/upgrade along with those previously mentioned.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
