You'd have to have a beefed up unit no doubt. personally the gains of powershifting just arn't worth the cost in the long run.

I'm not looking for the long run just the 11sec run.

I would look at other HP, traction, and weight mods first. Power shifting will not net you .7.

I got for this year:

MT DR's on 16" rims
Skinnies
4/10's that have been cryo treated
TA cover
welded tubes
Air bag
Dyna bat
Lightweight flywheel
EWP
short belt
and this stuff

.7 I'll take it tell me what I need to do to beef up the t-56 so I can powershift and run 11.8

Beefing up the t-56... i know that our shift forks are crap and prone to bending... so you can upgrade to steel ones... other than that i am curious to hear what toehr stuff one can do... I guess theres also a good clutch...

Upgrade the shift forks, syncros, and slider keys. Get a good clutch and shifter as well. Look at the D&D performance web site for more information.

I got my tranny rebuilt and got a new input shaft($300) cause of damage from the clutch splines, carbon fiber blocker rings , steel fork , all new bearings and sliders keys. All this work costed me $1100 and they claimed it would handle everything I put to it. As for power shifting I've never had any luck doing that and putting down better times. Maybe I'm no good at it and you'll have better luck.
