Default is it possible for a PP to move around?

thinking it might be why im having trouble. im thinkin the PP maybe be off center causing the clutch to slip. i blew the rear end and transmition up last year. maybe it shook the clutch around too. just thinking of possible things. the clutch is a spec 3 with only 2k miles on it. if it was off will it relign itself and catch or am i hoping for nothing

pp should not move at all cause its held on by several bolts, if the bolts are tight and the actual plate part is moving then its fucked up for sure.

A friend of mine who owns a tranny shop has seen it a few times. The bolts
on the PP and Flywheel have to bottom out right on the head, some after
market ones have a different shoulder and while they feel tight may work
loose under pressure and cause vibration and premature clutch wear.

He's done 2 dealer install repairs the last 6 months caused by that.

Hope that makes sense.
