ummmm......somewhere around 6100 or 6300 or so.....

I don't drive my car much....so I don't mind getting 1 mile per gallon.

With my TD's dumped, the car sounds better shifting between 2800-3000.
My gas mileage has suffered in city driving (13-15mpg), but highway mileage is still around 23-25mpg. Even tho my work week is only 3 days, i still try to drive conservative, that is until some idiot needs to be reminded of where their place is on the food chain...

With my H/C car and 3.42 gears, in the cold morning I shift no higher than 1800 so I don't stress the springs, then when it's warm i'll do 2k-2.5k

1800-2000rpms That is how I used to get 20+ mpg in the city. When my car returns, that won't be possible. . .

hahaha, I can set them off at idle

I shift at 2k when cold and then at 2.5k or so when warm when just putting around. I skip gears on occasion, but usually after I run a gear a little higher.

No matter what we do we are going to pay for the gas. So might as well have fun with it!
