Default PRO 5.0 Question

I just put this on last night. I put the LSS on it & it seems to be a little bit tto far right in all position even in nutral. I bolted it to the left side of the shifter. I don't like were it is, I have short arms & I have to slide the seat up. I'm thinking about bending it over left & back some. Any body alse have to do that? It works very smooth though I like that.

That's strange... mine starts out at the base a little to the right, but then it curves back to the left toward the driver. Here's a pic of my interior, and you can see the Pro 5.0 with LSS that I have... don't know if it helps you to see what it should look like, but here it is:

I have a Pro 5.0, but it has a shortened Pro 5.0 shifter handle. I'm about to sell b/c I think it's a notchy p.o.s. I have a buddy with the L.S.S. on his and it does sit too far to the right.

with the pro5.0 you will want an angled arm to get it more 'centered' take the stick they sent you with the pro5.0 the angled one, and cut it down to get desired height.

The short stick for the stock hurst will not work for the Pro 5.0. That stick is straight up, the Pro 5.0 one has a ~30 degree bend in it towards the drivers side so it will be centered. Sell it and use the Pro 5.0 stick cut down about 1.5" or buy the short stick specified for the Pro 5.0.

I have a Pro 5.0 with a UMI Short shifter stick on it, and it sits perfectly centered.

I had to heat mine up with a torch and bend it a little.

Both sticks I got with it are streight. May'be neither one came with it new, I don't know, But I would like to bend one of them. The longer one has an angle cut at the bottom were the bolt holes are. That must make that one sit at an angle, I like the shrter one, but it's to far right for me. may'be i'll cut the angle one down 1.5'' ? We'll see how it goes. I'll report back!!

That angled cut on the stick that came with the Pro 5.0 is what you need to center your shifter stick. Just that the aftermarket ones have an actual bend in the stick, not the cut where it bolts to the shifter. Cut it down the 1.5", it should still give you a pretty short shifter. If you still want it shorter, buy a short stick.

Here's a pic with the boot off and the stock stick that's been cut an inch or so. Yours is sitting over to the right more that that?
