Clutch? Maybe? well back in march of 04 I put a spec stg III clutch in. I upgraded all the hydraulics, etc. for the last 2 days if im in a higher gear, say 4th, and I hit the gas, I will get what feels like wheel hop, and the engine revs up like the clutch is slipping. Could the clutch be slipping? The reason this whole thing confuses me is that when I'm in 1st or 2nd and hit it, I don't experience the problem. Instead, the car hooks up and goes. I don't smell any clutch burning and on every launch I've done, the clutch acts fine. My pedal feels like it is sticky. It has done this since I've had the car, both before and after the clutch install. I'm not sure if this symptom has anything to do with the way the car has been acting recently, but I figured I'd throw it in anyway. Thanks for the help in advance.

Call SPEC. I was having the same thing you have (only after more miles) and SPEC told me that my clutch was dead, as I suspected. Maybe you do far more stop-go driving or track time (I do very little) and thats why your's bit the dust sooner.
