Yes, its possible. It should have been labeled on the flywheel side though.

i do not remember seeing anything on the disc and by looks i do not think the thing would go together right if the disc was installed backwards but i am sure someone out there has and i want to know what it would act like if it is in backwards

It is possible, but I think most clutch hubs have one end of the clutch hub that protrudes more on one side to keep this from happening. I don't think it would be possible to tighten the pressure plate down without breaking the clutch disc if it were on backwards becasue of this. It's kind of hard to describe what I'm trying to say here, but if you look at a clutch disc, you'll know what I'm saying.

Thats what I thought as well. Seems like you would see it when tightening the pressure plate

I just installed a spec stg-II about 6 months ago. It to would also shake upon release. It did get better with in the brake in time. And now it is fine will get a bit of shake at the 1st start of the day (when cold). Just make sure you are EASY on it for the 1st 500 miles, no hard take offs and or high rpms. After the 500 miles let it have it.

Oh and it can not be installed backwards the disc spline/hub section is longer on the back side and will not let you install backwards.

The clutch hub sticks out on the pressure plate side. So it would be impossible to put it in backwards.
Sounds like you have some mean chatter.(spec) Most say to drive the car & break the clutch in. Then it should lessen somewhat.
