Just did Spec 3 clutch and flywheel! I likey!
I put in my Spec 3 clutch this weekend. I broke down and spent the extra $ on an aluminum flywheel too I ended up reusing the pilot bearing and the t/o bearing. Why? Because i didnt have a tool to remove the pilot bearing and it was done about 25k miles ago and seemed in good condition. I couldnt figure out how to get the t/o bearing off We dicked around with it forever and finally i cleaned it with brake clean, lubed it up, and put everything back together.
I was very impressed with the clutch. Theres minimal chatter. The clutch pedal is NOT very stiff. It engages WAY smoother than what i was expecting. As a matter of fact i would honestly say it doesnt engage much harder than stock at all. It does however hold the power(only 317hp) where as the stock one slipped badly. Very streetable.

it depends on the break in I guess. Spec recommends a minimum of 450 city miles before driving it hard. I put about 650 on mine since a portion of that was highway miles. Took it out and drove it pretty hard and slipped it from about 4 grand a couple times. Now the chatter is gone.

No problems yet.
