Spec is currently working on a double disc set up, one disc is sprung. Supposed to be as streetable as a stage 3 but can handle power like a stage 5.

Well, I guess I'm the minority. I DO have a Textralia OZ700. And it's actually installed in the car too

It's an excellent clutch for street driving. Light pedal feel (about the same as stock), and it has a very good bite at the track. It's doing better than the stock clutch...which died in conjunction with my TR224 cam install. I'd recommend it.

The "Z06" clutch people refer to is the LS6 clutch.

I believe the ausi clutch is in a specialty product that was marketed well. In other words, they are closer to being here in the mainstream market as is possible without being everwhere. It's interesting to see what they come up with. They are our bitches.
Then let me be the second one here to say CLUTCHMASTERS OWNS!
I have it, and absolutely love it. It's even better than advertised. I'm fairly new to this board (2 posts now? - need to get a sig) but have been on LS1/2 since 2001. Elmer was a big help (among others) during my research stage and LOVES his too. FWIW he runs twin turbos.

What are you both you and them stupid? Tranny fluid doesn't cause that at all. The trans could be the problem, but not the fluid. Dude, did you replace the slave and master cyclinder at the same time?

I think I remember reading that the LS7 clutch needs to use the LS7 flywheel.

There is at least one member already running it with the LS2 flywheel. I never heard it was LS7 flywheel specific.

From what I have been reading there is no LS7 specific flywheel.

I am tryin to decided now between the Spec 3, LS7 or the Textralia. Too many to choose from

I have had a Spec and it grabbed good and all chatter went away after 500 miles.

I have the CARTEK clutch with the upgraded 02 hydrolics....the clutch pedal is a bit firmer then stock but it grabs very well and is very similar in characteristis to the O.E. unit. If I could do it all over again, I would go with the LS7 clutch if possible but I would also recommend the CARTEK unit
