Seal leak and a question

Seal leak and a question Hey guys. I have a t56 input shaft seal leak. Anyone have any pointers for me? The tranny is out of the car. Also if anyone has the P/N for the seal that would be great. thanks

I don't know what is most commonly replaced, but here are the other seals I see in the parts list:
12523293 - Seal, Reverse Lockout Solenoid (O Ring)
12523301 - Seal, Reverse Lockout (O Ring)
10117848 - Seal, Main Shaft (Double Lip) or
12530278 - Seal, Main Shaft (Triple Lip)
12523293 - Seal, Skip Shift Solenoid (O Ring)
12523293 - Seal, Reverse Lockout Solenoid (O Ring)
12523301 - Seal, Reverse Lockout (O Ring)
10117848 - Seal, Main Shaft (Double Lip) or
12530278 - Seal, Main Shaft (Triple Lip)
12523293 - Seal, Skip Shift Solenoid (O Ring)

while your in the trans,check all the teeth on all the syncros and blocker rings with a magnifing glass. look for any burrs ect. teeth should be kind of sharp. rounded corners are not good. and you should install a new steel shift fork...3-4 while your in there. when putting the unit back together,be sure to use a good sealer..g.m. sells it. g.m.s. its called. when cleaning the surfaces,make damm sure you use brake clean! any small amount of grease and it will leak.

Front adapter? I assume you are talking about the plate with the 8 or so boltsin it, on the front of the t56?
Are there any other gaskets i need to order after i remove the front adapter?
