Yeah I saw that listed on thunders site, that's what I called and asked for, when he pulls inventory on it from the computer, it shows the supercession to the 0343 part. what do you show on the 6288 when you pull it up?

Just talked to him, GM says that it's not a good number change and the 6288 is still the correct one to get. So he is getting me one from another store tonight!

SHEESH, that would have sucked!! Not to mention it was $30 MORE than the 6288 was!!

as long as your all set now thats all that matters

Is there a nipple on the 6288 slave on the bleeder part like is shown in the 1st pic or is there not one...I could have sworn there was a nipple on mine but its not there...If there is its got to be press fit because theres no threads...The slave on thunder looks 100% identical to mine and im just trying to figure out if it is supposed to have one or not...

well the GM one from pre-01 they were all basically metal with no boot. the newer 01-02 are plastic based with a boot to cover i am guessing like it was stated before to keep all sorts of crap out. also the weight difference is significantly noticeable. your 01-02 should be alot lighter.

01 and 02 slaves are all metal with no boot. I should know I have an 02 dangling under my car right now as well as a new one in the box...They are the exact same...
