Default new clutch time!!

well My spec Stg III started slipping about a month ago. it exactly one year for it to suck. I thought about getting a new friction disk, but now I've decided to go ahead and buy a whole new clutch. What would you guys recommend? I've heard good things about the RAM's and so I'm leaning towards that. This clutch need to be able to handle good power since I've got a H/C car and drive everyday. I'm more concerned about dependability(something quite rare) than how comfortable it is while driving.

I always recommend the McLeod street twin, I have it and LOVE it, no chatter what so ever, holds the most power and can be rebuilt by McLeod as well.

So that's what I would go with, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I had to.

Clutch Masters or textrailia. Either will grip great and you won't have to worry about the clutch for a while. Take your time with either choice.

I know it sucks to hear this but dont go out and buy another 500 clutch(spec) just save up and get a textrailia or street twin.. there is a reason both of those clutches cost more than the others and its not just for them to make money

Hard decision. Both Spec and Ram have their share of success and nightmare stories (Spec more than Ram, probably due to the fact that there are just a lot more Spec's out there on LS1's than just about any other clutch). Textralia sounds nice, but it's still relatively unproven here in the states, not to mention a bit pricey.

You could always try a Ram HD, I know the TSP guys recommend that clutch a lot.

Proibably not a good idea to recommend a stage 5 spec right now considering two guys have had them blow up in there cars and take everything out around it very recently

Collectively, people here have blown just about every clutch out there. I wouldnt recommend a stage 5 because its overkill for his setup.
