Tranny synchros for mn6 - are they under warranty?

Tranny synchros for mn6 - are they under warranty? Car is popping out of 3rd and 4th is doing weird things, friend told me this is the synchros, is it under warranty? I have a 2k2 btw. Also is the shift work involved in this? Thanks guys.

Re: Tranny synchros for mn6 - are they under warranty? I have the same problem, I think I'm converting over to a TH400, because I will have some warranty issues as you can see in the sig, and it would cost a lot to rebuild...

There is a TSB issued for this. You can cite TSB 01-07-29-003A with your dealer. They are supposed to replace the shift fork, 3-4 synchronizer, 3rd gear blocker ring and 3rd speed gear. It's all under warranty if you haven't busted out of the miles, yet.

Re: Tranny synchros for mn6 - are they under warranty? mine's even wierder - downshifting from 6 to 5, the gears occasionally clash as the synchronizer may or not engage. Aggravating. The dealer claims that he can't reproduce the problem, but, there it is!
