Exclamation Z06 Disengagement Issues

I had a LUK Z06 clutch installed along with a new slave cyl. at a local shop. The clutch worked nice for about a day then it seemed it started to not disengage all the way because it was hard to get into and out of gear. since it has been bleed a dozen times and most recently i had them put all new hydrolics in it from the resiviour to the slave and it still don't work!! what caould be causeing this besides the hydrolics??

It sure sounds like a problem with air in the system. Do a search and read the posts. There are a bunch of posts about the "right" ways to bleed the system. Maybe your local shop isn't doing it correctly. Other people have had a similar problem based on what I have read. A good pedal that goes bad or a pedal that comes and goes. When I did my clutch recently, I did the gravity bleed and have had no problems. It does take a good deal of time and you have to keep an eye on your reservoir so you don't introduce air into the system. Beyond the hydraulics, I think it's possible that if the pressure plate bolts were not properly torqued and the start working their way out, that can cause problems with disengagement. Good Luck.

Thanks, the shop is putting a new clutch in today just in case the pressure plate was warped or something, hopfully that will do it, if not I'll try the Gravity bleed
