Default Auto or Manual

Which is faster in the 1/4 mile? Lets say the auto had a stall and a shift kit.

BUT, if both cars are totally equal except for the tranny, and the M6 has a PERFECT driver, the M6 wins.

Having both the A4, and the M6 over the last few years I can say that my 6 speed "stock" is quicker than my "stock" A4 was down the strip. The converter and shift kit would definately help the attempt to fill the gap. The most important thing to get a M6 fast is the "driver" mod, so many people CANNOT drive for ****. Find the driver that launches well, and powershifts every gear perfectly and you will be impressed with a 6 speed
