some M6 questions
Hey everyone, just a couple questions here...
1) I went out to car yesterday. Was REALLY hot. Well, my clutch pedal was about halfway to floor. So I pulled up with my foot has been fine since. Why would this happen?
2) Do your tranny's get really hot sometimes? When it's hot outside, and I'm driving, not even necessarily racing, my transmission gets so hot my center console gets hot, and I can feel the heat down near my legs.
3) I'm now (Since doing A4 to M6 swap) having some problems with my car starting to over heat. It'll go to about 230 to 240 degrees. Granted I do my own tuning. Can anything tuning wise cause your car to overheat? My fans are set to turn on at:
Stage 1: 185 on 180 off
Stage 2: 190 on 185 off.
As always, any info is appreciated.

1, air in the system maybe, or the master/ slave issue???, also check any thing that might hang on the peddle
2, after you do your conversion, did you make sure the big rubber boot is there??? otherwise all the heat from motor will get into the center console. and it is normal the carpet by console is warm. as long as not too hot, its fine
3, i don't think so, maybe there is still air in the system.
