I dont know if there is a problem with my clutch, tranny, or maybe its just my stock hurst shifter. I have problems when trying to downshift into 3rd,it just wont go in. Then my other problem is with 5th, when i get to the top of 4th and go to shift into 5th it wont go in and i hear the teeth grinding.

Well no sugar caoting it, sounds like the trans needs to come out. Your prolly looking at an overhaul at the least. You can try & change the fluid might help a little, but the problem is going to get worse.

i may not have explained that exactly right , It will go into gear, but the rpm's have to drop before it will click in. 3rd goes in perfect never missed a shift from 2nd, that gear is just down shifting. but 5th sometimes it wont go in when im racing and im up around 5500 comin out of 4th. but it will go in.
