Default Change the fluid in my M6?

Do we need to change the fluid on our M6 or not? If so how often should it be done. Thanks

I changed mine last at 35k miles and will do it again when I put the new clutch in. Since you have a 99 I would say it would not hurt to change it. I am using GM syncromesh, and it seemed to make the shifts smoother after I changed it. I do not think that there is an offical change interval but I change my fluids about every 15k miles.
