Cartek Clutch engaugement point changes on its own???
Ive read this a few time here about how the Carteks adjusted point of engaugement always changes. Mines been doing this for a while now. The adjustment rod is tight and all. What could be the cause for this? It seems it like to creep back up to the top. I dont have any problems with the clutch and Im puttin down 700RWTQ on the spray. The pedal point keeps moving everytime I drive it.

Re: Cartek Clutch engaugement point changes on its own???
I already read that just before I posted this. I want to know "WHY?" I dont have the $$$ to go buy a new PP. Theres nothing on the PP to alow for this. All it is is a diaphram with springs (forks) It doesnt adjust.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having those clutch problems. Believe me, I know how frustrating it is to get in the car and not know where the clutch is going to engage next time. Like I said in my other post...after changing all the hydraulics, the pressure plate was the only thing left to check out as odd as it would be. I am like you, I have no idea why the Cartek PP would be causing the engagement points to jump around. I have tried to get in touch with Cartek, but it is hard to get to them sometimes. If you get in touch with them and they have an explaination on what the cause could be, please let me know. Like I said in my other post, I am in noway bashing their setup, but it appears that others are having these issues and it should be addressed.
