Default m6, stock clutch, daily drivers inside please....

I was just wondering how long do your STOCK clutches last???? Of course other things come into play such as amount of horsepower, traction, etc....

I have had my car for less than 2 years and I am about to put my third clutch in it..... I dynoed my car and it puts out a wopping 300/330 to the wheels The ONLY reason i keep putting the stock replacement clutch in it is b/c i got LIFETIME WARRANTY on it.... so how long do your clutches last...

My M6 stock clutch has lasted 63k miles (from the factory/original) miles... but I'm getting some decent slippage in 1st and 2nd. Not so easy to chirp now either. Time for a replacement!

it could if its not releasing all the way, or if the clutch is good that means your syncros are gone for thoes gears.

My stock clutch lasted 36k at 330/318. After mods 450/402, took about 6k miles and it was toast.

The previous owner put in what I think is a stock clutch and i've been running 370 rwhp for a while with no slippage. Of course I never dump the clutch (10 bolt) and am on shitty all season tires. But the original lasted 80k with just boltons.

We took my stock clutch out at 57K, and it looked perfect. And it had a hard life. A lot of track time.

My car has 32k on it, original clutch as far as I know. I got the car with 25k on it in Jan. It was bone stock and I have the mods in sig. This past sat I went to the track and I didn't slip it or drop it, I did the "controlled clutch dump" I have posted about before. 1st pass I pulled a 1.939 60ft on the same street tires as always. Somewhere during the run it slipped some. Next pass I 60ft 1.935, and VERY soon after it started slipping BAD. Pretty much all through the rest of 1st, and when I hit 2nd it was awful. I let out and I have it on video....smoke rolling out from under the car like it was on fire That was it for me for the nite. I parked it and didn't drive it for 2.5 hrs, and that was for the 60ish mile drive home. Almost home I am in 1st, rev it out to 4k and shift pretty quick to 2nd, and it barks em. So the next test I gave it was a 20mph roll race with a buddy. I hit the gas and the car spins a little, I shift to 2nd and it chirps loud and hard.....so it's ok I guess. I'm thinking that it will be sufficent for the street but the track is too sticky for it to hold. So when money allows I will be upgrading my whole setup, hydraulics and all.

having similar problems just like you BRIANCWS6.... when i get on it hard it will start to slip, after if gets hot or what not.... but once it cools down seems good to go. I've already got the new clutch ready to go, just waiting for this one to give out completely, so i can swap this one in....

stock clutch with 40,000 and lots and lots of hard launches at the track and a few donuts. Still holding strong and feels like it's still grabing where it was when i first got it.
