What clutch for 700 hp?
I have nothing but clutch problems. I'm looking for clutches that work. Spec is junk and i haven't heard good things about textralia either.
Trying to around the 1000 price range or less.
My application is a street car that gets aboutn 1000-1500 miles a month put on it.

I'll see if I can weld this clutch again.

I have ran 2 SPEC 3's and One Mcloed. The SPEC 3 were junk and only lasted 1000 mile each. The Mcloed did aloot better and drove better with no chatter, but when i just took it out i noticed that the clutch was only holding on the inner side of the flywheel and the outer side didnt look even used. I think it wasnt balanced right when installed, but anyways the Mcloed was way better than SPEC in almost everything except the mushiness and long travel of the pedal.
Now im running Textraila and like it soo far. No chatter and the pedal is very soft (stock soft). Im still breaking in the clutch and later on im going to take it to the track to see what it does.
My advice so far: Either Mcloed or Textraila, but no way SPEC.
Good luck

McLeod Twin Disk... grabs harder than either the McLeod Single Disk or the RAM Powergrip HD that I tore up with my car. Damn twin grabs so hard it tore up my Eaton HD posi and the ring & pinion in my 12 bolt... had to get a Detroit Locker so the damn thing would hold together with that clutch.

EDITs for not reading whole thread Another question anyways...how's engagement with that cluct boost? Is it like an on/off switch or more "slip" like a stocker?
