Default clutch pedal to floor after sitting?

Had shop diagnose car and they said no air in line, poss bad master cylinder. Well, if I let the car sit a day or two, come out, and pull pedal up with foot, will drive fine for rest of day. Any ideas out there?

Thanks for link, but not at all related. My car sits, fluid NOT hot. Just sits there, and overnight or over a couple days or whatever is almost to floor.

I had the same problem. It was the master cylinder that went bad. Fluid would get passed the piston in the MC and equalize pressure.

So replacing MC DEFINITELY fixed it, right?
