don't have a HP gain number but the car sure ran/accelerated much nicer with the aluminum flywheel..............

true.....light weight parts don't actually make you "build more HP"...the ONLY way to BUILD more HP is to burn more fuel/air and exert the resultant pressure over more bore/stroke.........
but for simplicity sake, "freeing HP" is looked at as "building HP" because it is HP you were not able to use towards pushing the car down the road/track........I would say it's an easy 10-15HP if I had to guess.....

so i guess the real qestion is how much rear wheel horsepower is it freeing up. i understand. i should have dyno results within the next two weeks and im getting the luk z06 clutch as a cheap slight upgrade.

it will probubly work for his application, I would just like to have "extra" in case I find more power somewhere (like a big supercharger
)........ 
my point is, the cost for the clutch isn't NEAR what the install cost is and IF down the road he wants to do something that needs more, he is already good to go.......

i had installed a spec III, all new hydraulics, and fidanza aluminum flywheel. it feels like my car has faster acceleration in 1st and 2nd. i though i would warp but i has held up great!

I went the budget route with mine (since I did the labor) and it's held well considering...
