I had some shop install issues also, and I agree, get the shop to set it up correctly. You'll be amazed at how this clutch performs.

You will probably have to shim up the slave cylinder, I had the same problem with other clutches. Got sick of shimming and bought Mcloed adjustable master.

Thanks for the responses. I feel pretty good Pete will help me get this right. He has always been there to answer my q's. Very unusual to have someone talk to you and help you with their product as well as he has. I will take it back to NLPerf and hopefully he can talk them through it. It actually shifted into gear better when I first picked it up. I hope the tranny didnt suffer some damage trying to bed it in without complete disengagement. I put about 200 mixed miles on it and still no improvement. The pedal is very soft the first half of travel then it seems to get harder just as it disengages. I haven't got a clue what it is. Maybe bleeding, and maybe shimming though Pete says it has not been necessary yet.

If ever I have a low pedal again I will NOT drive the car until the clutch grabs where it is supposed to. I am worried about the tranny.

It is good, as I cut my best 60'er from a 1.65 to a 1.53, and that'll tell the whole story right there. There is more left and honestly believe I'll get a 1.4x on the BFG DRs.

I think this just the nature of an aftermarket clutch that doesn't slip like the stocker.

I give it an A+ so far!
Couldn't have described mine any better.

Sounds like a great clutch....

But the reason I would get it is because of them playing Tool - Reflection on their website....

awsome clutch IMO...1500+miles on mine thus far with appox 15 passes down the track...thats over 600rwtq and this thing hasnt skipped a beat!! my only curiousity now is to just how long this thing is gonna last with the abuse. Robert has quite a few more passes than i do so so far its lookin pretty good.

I was wondering what happened to you - was at the Wednesday night Test and Tune two weeks ago and didn't see you running.

Ok guys we know have 7 or so unhappy campers.Maybe some of you that originally said you were unhappy have been fixed up and mabye some of you still are. Maybe time for some more explanations on what the reasons are for you not being happy.

I am still sitting on the fence but the percentage of people that like it is still a lot higher than those that don't.A good thing so far.

Some guys may not like it because of the puck design (racing like), meaning you can get some shake/shudder until broken in and/or learning the correct take off rpm. My set-up works best taking off from idle, this eliminates all chatter. If I try to take off like stock clutch I get mucho chatter/shake. Still, I bet none have failed, try that poll with other brands.
