Well.. I have been looking into different clutches.. Now it's time to replace the stocker. It's my daily driver, C5 with ~450 rwhp on motor and I want to spray to 550 rwhp. I was looking at the Textralia, Ram, Spec and others... Textralia is more $$$ than the others... so hmm...
Sell me on a clutch guys.. It's a daily driver, so I dont want a 2 footed clutch, but will go with a lil more pedal pressure than stock if I need to.
I want something that will last.. and I "drive" my car
thanks
Steve

i was not happy with my centerforce at all!
it took alot of pedal pressure to disengage, i had problems getting it into gears, and it burned up the first time i had DRs on the car.

We tried a Spec 3 in my friends Z06 and it was okay but there was an issue with balance. We had the unit Zero balanced and still had vibration issues. We ended up
installing a new stock Z06 cluth, PP and flywheel in with NO issues.
So, I am having the same dilema, which clutch to choose. I might try the LS7 clutch and PP with the LS2 flywheel. It seems a guy from the Hybrid section is having good luck with his and the LS7 clutch/PP can be had for under $300 !!

I have the Spec stage 3F. It's an iron disk. Pedal pressure is slightly more than stock. Gives me whiplash on engagement but can be slipped for easier driving on the street. Feel free to give me a call.

Part of my problem is its still on 3.42s....
A set of steeper gears will help.
The clutch grabs and goes, feels good, not too stiff of a pedal, just a little more than stock. running a mcleod adj. master, new slave, stock-turned flywheel

my car is 500lbs heavier than yours and just over 500 to the tire. Centerforce dual friction is where its at. great cluch set up and an exceptional price.
my vote is for centerforce.

i had a spec 3 in my camaro when it was a 6spd..........i loved it. i've heard good things about the exedy lightweight flywheel/clutch assemblies. for either the exedy or spec give SPEEDINC a call and they'll help you choose the right one.
