A couple of flat head screw drivers is all you need to push in that white clip. Have you done a search, I'm sure you'll find a more detailed description in one of those threads.

mine was really hard to get out, and i almost ended up just ripping it out. But like he said, get 2 flat head screwdrivers and push on the grey clip, and its supposed to pop out. On mine, the ring went in pretty far, and I had to have somebody pull on the line to get it out.

You can do it with flatheads, but a fuel line disconnect tool for a couple bucks makes it a ton easier.

There is a tool that is a flat peice of steel that has a U shaped slot in it. It is like some fuel disconnect tools. McLeod sells them if you need one. Use two very short medium size flat blade screwdrivers. Try to push on either side of the white plastic collar until the collar pushes all the way in flush with the metal outside. Once it is in pull the braided clutch master line out away from the trans. Installation is easier and only requires pushing the connector in until the metal fingers click in and it locks.
