At this point I don't care if it robbed 50 hp i'm tired of my car being down because of the same problem over and over again.

it uses 5 percent more hp to turn than a 12 bolt. moser re engineered their 12 bolts to prevent the axle tube flexing. the new ones wont flex. the will hold up to 1000 hp before they break.

so if your car has 100 hp it only takes 5hp more but if you make 1000hp it takes 50hp more?

no it takes 5 percent more to turn a 9 inch than a 12 bolt meaning if it takes say 10 hp to turn the 12 bolt it takes 10.5 to turn the 9 inch.

The 5% refers to the efficiency lost. So if you are losing 5% in efficieny, then you would be correct in saying 5hp for 100hp, or 50hp loss for 1000hp. Same with a tranny, a tranny is at a set efficiency rating, not a set HP lost rating.

Sounds good. Any chance you could make it to KCIR on 3-11-06? We are having a GM shootout there. The track always hooks-me and TOSTO RACING both had new bests last time out there.
