Default 2 Probems Please Help!

Ok, I got a brand new clutch/flywheel/slave cylinder/pilot/TO bearing. Everything was working fine for like 5 days. Now I have 2 problems:
1) I left my house, everthing working fine. Next thing I know, I can press the clutch in with no effort. There is like no resistence. Very easy to depress. It grabbed in all gears, but it had no resistence. So I parked and when I came back out, the pressure was fine and drove normaly.
2) Almost drove normaly, I could not get my car into reverse. I try putting it in, and it wont let me. I push really hard, started to grind so I put it back in neutral. I pump the clutch a bunch, sit there, finally it goes into reverse. Reverse is the only gear giving me problems.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!!!! I already searched and got nothing. This is my first manuel and i'm almost regretting not getting an automatic. Please help!!!!

Try rebleeding your hydraulics. It sounds like your clutch is not properly releasing. What kind of clutch setup do you have? What ever you do, do not force the tranny into gears. That can cause unwanted damage.

I just had a clutch put in, LUK with a flywheel, everything except the master. I wanted the LUK cause its OEM and will last longer then the SPECS and such. The fluid looks good in the resevoir.

There could still be air in the system. First thing I would do is rebleed the hydraulics and then try changing the master cylinder.

This was never mentioned in the threads on this problem but, it states right in the GM manual that if bleeding does not firm up pedal, pump pedal repedadly 30 times quickly and then let it set and the air will work its way to the fill container. It states to do this more then once to get the air out that is traped where bleeding cant help. It also does not say how long to let it sit either.

Hope this helps this problem out.

Let it sit overnight is my guess (since it does not say). I never use OEM clutches so my best guess was to start with the hydraulics and go from there. You should have also replaced the master with an adjustable one. That really needs to be changed.

Yea I know, but I had just laid out $1000 for install and parts, so another $250 for the master I didn't have. I was going to change it, but it worked fine. Im really dissapointed with manuel transmissions with these cars. The car only has 45,000 miles and already has more problems then my 98 V6 Auto Camaro with 75,500 miles ever had. My first two cars repairs combined hasn't equaled the Trans Am, and I only have had it since July.

you prob should just picked up a new stock 01+ master and do the drill mod on it about $100 or so.

all i can say is try a mighty vac, and hope for the best.

if some one installed it for you take it back to them
