Funny you mention that...... I haven't purchased a new clutch for my bottlefed 408 just yet for this reason- here's my plan:

IF the spec twin is less than a mc cleod twin: I WILL "try it"

IF the spec twin is MORE than the mc cleod I will go with the Mc cleod.... might not sound logical to some.... but im not willing to "experiment" AND PAY MORE... when there is a tried and true clutch that will hold the power.
(and yes i have heard of a few horror stories about mc cleods also)

Im just not comfortable just yet to consider ANY single disk over a dual just yet- for apps in the 700rwhp-800rwtq range

will they have them with dual unsprung hubs?

had a stage 4, now on a stage 5, and looking for something else when this one goes
