So far this new clutch is awesome. SPEC's new dual disk setup.Peddle pressure is less than stock and engagement is excellent with no chatter. If it holds the 1000+rwhp we put to it we will definitely be very happy
BTW-don't bother SPEC yet since it isn't released to the public till testing is done
Some pics

So far I've blown up or permenently dissabled every clutch out there. SPEC's are the only one's that have taken the abuse I give them
On my personal car we expect a clutch to last a max of 4k miles due to my hard driving at the track. This car that is ussing this clutch has a history of destroying clutches too.
I'm thinking that this clutch would be better with full faced material instead of pucks, but we'll see. It drives better than a Mcleod dual disk setup though.
you drive a spec 5 on the street???? thats hardcore your my role model!! i had thought about it. I have an exedy twin disc with a light flywheel and that took some learning on how to drive but its HARD on drivetrain stuff.
hmmm a non sprung hub disc on the street

the clutchThe new clutch is in the car already.Feel is like a stock clutch but lighter peddle. This one will be pulled and we will have the clamping pressure raised for more holding power. Takes me about 2.5 hours to do a clutch swap on this car.
