Spec clutch gone...01 z06 and 288 slave in..one question?
The clutch works flawlessly, but the pedal is really light. The spec carbon never gave up, it just honked like a pack of geese when it engaged. My question is this..will the drill mod make the pedal feel noticeably heavier?
Anyway, since I do so little racing, I went to the GM clutch so as to keep the girlfriend from bitching about jerky clutch engagements. It makes the car seem like a caddy in comparison. Peace and thanks for any replies in advance.

I think the drill mod will make it feel even lighter. Thats my 2 cents and could be very wrong.
The drill mod may save you from some missed shifts later on down the road.

Thanks, I had a little schooling years ago, and I remember something about a restriction raising pressure in a hydraulic system. I thought they put the restriction there to make it have less pedal pressure. Does anyone know for sure why GM did this? I suppose with GM, you can never really be sure what they do things for. The are like our government, too big for their own good.
Did they do it to make the clutch engage slower? To make the shifts less jerky?

I believe that. What a weenie rearend. I don't have the cash on hand these days to upgrade, so I went with a stock clutch this time. No drag radials for me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
