I don't quite know what the drill mod involves. I think it makes the clutch respond better if I'm not mistaken, right? I wouldn't trust myself drilling out parts of my car. I have very shaky hands due to a minor neurological disorder.

but at least nothins broke..for now Now...... I dunno if the return spring is messed up or what, but it makes the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts suck. Doesnt center right all the time and youll hit between the shift gates. To me it just seems like it should be imossible to miss 3-4th but as youll pull the shifter straight back it hits between 2 and 4th and same when goin 2-3 hit hits between 1-3. Pisses me off, Ive never had problems, shifter worked great last year, now it give me a headache and makes it scary to make wot power shifts
I think Im going back to a Billet plus like in my old car, or maybe try that other new shifter.
I got the Billet Plus, WS6store 6" stick and the stock Hurst ****.... feels almost like a bolt action!
And, I don't get where all these guys are getting terrible noise from their 5.0? Mine's quiet as can be and I didn't do anything extra to it. Then again, maybe I can't hear it over my cam or solid trans mount?
My only complaint with the Pro 5.0 was the stick loosening up and having to retighten the allen head bolts...but some thread locker solved that issue.
